So last night was the opening for photographer Hunter Barnes at Milk Studios. Peppered with the beautiful regulars and artsy crowd, the opening had a more light-hearted pep than the somber economic mood outside (the free-flowing Smirnoff might have helped). Credit goes to Milk for hosting the photographer's work, which is far from trendy or ironic, but is an up front documentation of the lives of Native Americans, in a beautifully lit space.
